Carimate Dining Chairs, Vico Magistretti for Cassina, 1963

Originally designed in 1963 for the Carimate Golf Club in northern Italy, the Carimate chair by Vico Magistretti for Cassina is an enduring icon of Italian mid-century design.

Its woven rush seat references Italy’s rustic craft heritage, while the bold frame and architectural silhouette cement its place as a 1960s design classic, equally suited to dining settings or as a statement occasional chair.
